Brandon grew up in Ocean City, Maryland. He began performing at the age of 9 and continued up through high school where his love for theatre and film was nurtured and allowed to grow. Brandon graduated from Villa Julie College in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Film, Video, and Theatre. Favorite stage credits from college include Ross Gardiner from "Visiting Mr. Green", David Dillon from "Full Moon", Tim from "Noises Off", Ralph Werner in "Working", and Talthybius from The "Trojan Women".

Brandon has been seen around Baltimore on stage as Antony Wilding in Enchanted April at The Vagabond Theatre, Gollum in The Hobbit at Pumpkin Children's Theatre, and Mohammed in The Tale of the Allergist's Wife at Fells Point Corner Theatre; to name a few. Brood marks Brandon's first feature film.

Philip J. Martin Philip J. Martin (Mr. Parker) more

Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Philip J. Martin grew up in the small town of Hanover, Maryland. At the age of 10, his passion for performing was born as he was cast in the role of Flute in Shakespeare's A Mid-Summer Night's Dream. It was then Philip realized that he was born to perform. His undying determination evenetually landed him in Los Angeles where he found himself on the set of everything from "24" to "Seabiscuit", from "C.S.I. Miami" to "Intolerable Cruelty". While on the set of "Carnival", he received his S.A.G. eligibility. Growing up watching movies like "Raiders of the Lost Ark", "Romancing the Stone", "Star Wars", "The Terminator", and "Diehard", Philip realized that roles in action/adventure movies were what he craved. He also got to portray Indiana Jones in the trailer, "Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis". Harrison Ford as Han Solo, and Indiana Jones was one of Philip's first inspirations.

Amber Nelson Amber Nelson (Emily) more

("THE WIRE," "A HAUNTING," "2 MINUTE HEIST") Amber Nelson grew up in Potomac, Maryland. She is the daughter of Dr. Fizzeh Shirazee Nelson and Noel R. Nelson, inventor of the first patent of the behind the lens light meter of the SLR camera. Nelson is one of 6 siblings, whole, half and step, and the mother of one child. Nelson attended Norwood School, in Bethesda, Maryland, for elementary school, The Holton-Arms School for 7th-12th grades, Kenyon College, in Gambier, Ohio, for 1 year and then transferred to the University of Maryland, College Park,MD, to complete her degree. In 1998, Nelson received a BA degree in Arts & Humanities with a double major in Studio Art and Art History & Archaeology with a minor in Business. She is a current part-time student of Interior Design at Catonsville Community College of Baltimore, while pursuing acting as a profession.

Nelson's first time being on-camera was at the age of four for the DC 20 channel on WOW! Nelson was a MD Thespian in her high-school years, playing, lead, supporting, solo, chorus and dance roles as well as helping out backstage building sets. She has appeared in television commercials for the Baltimore Orioles and in several industrial videos as well as in several reenactments for, AMERICA'S MOST WANTED. Amber played, "Maxi," in the film, 2 MINUTE HEIST , which was written and directed by both Kris Arnold and Dan Deluca. Nelson and Deluca are also in a mutual episode of HBO's THE WIRE. Deluca plays, "Dr. Parenti," while Nelson plays, "Miss Thiessen," a school teacher, in season 4 in the episode titled, "Know Your Place." Nelson has also enjoyed being frightened and frightening her audience, while working as one of the main actors in Discovery Channel's, A HAUNTING, episode, "Where Demons Dwell." She now looks forward to creeping your pants off in BROOD.

Art Hall Art Hall (Kaleb) more

Art Hall started acting in 1996 in a high school production of It's a Wonderful Life and continued to play in every production until his graduation. From there he went on to begin film work in both the independent and mainstream and continued to study theatre in his college career. In 2002 he co-wrote, co-produced, co-starred and directed the independent feature-length comedy The Money Shot. He continued to focus his training on classic method stage acting, Alexander motion technique and Linklater breath work. Through out this he portrayed numerous characters on the stage including acclaimed interpretations of Tim (SubUrbia), Stage Manager (Our Town) and John Protcor (The Crucible).

This Baltimore area native grew up in Pasadena and spent his weekends in Baltimore city. After graduating from Chesapeake High School he went on to pursue an Associate's Degree in Theatre Performance from Anne Arundel Community College in 2002 and a Bachelor's Degree in Theatre Performance from the University of Maryland at College Park in 2006.

Aubrohn King Aubrohn King (Richards) more

Aubrohn grew up in Reisterstown, Maryland where he attended Franklin High School. Always the athlete, he was on the indoor track, football and lacrosse teams. While at the University of Maryland, College Park, he played on the Maryland Club Lacrosse Team and served on the University of Maryland Honor Guard and Rifle Trick Team. He caught the acting bug when he landed a role in a student film. After graduating, with an Economics degree, he became a Commissioned Officer in the United States Marine Corps. Currently, he works in the Telecommunications industry.

Aubrohn’s love for acting was re-energized when he was cast in an independent film. He has received training and coaching from Terry Schreiber of the T. Schreiber Studio, based in New York City and Robert G. Christie, a local filmmaker / director / writer, based in the Baltimore area. He’s had roles in a local commercial and other productions, such as “Brood” (2007) and “Safehouse” (2008). He has also worked multiple times on the HBO series, “The Wire”. His most recent project (currently in production) is a Ridley Scott film, “Body of Lies” (2008). He was recently cast in the local independent production “Penny Dreadful” (2008).
